Tamarack Grief Resource Center strengthens and honors individuals, families and communities throughout their journey with grief.

GRIEF SUPPORT

We offer creative, active, meaningful gatherings for bereaved kids, teens, and adults in western Montana.
Programs include:

  • Teen Council, Missoula & Kalispell, monthly
  • Support groups, for youth and adults – Missoula, Kalispell & Browning
    • Call to learn what groups are available or to add your name to an interest list
  • School based support – throughout western Montana
  • Urgent response for schools and workplaces 
  • Consultations & counseling, Missoula, Kalispell and Browning
    • For kids, adults, teens, families, couples
  • Day of the Dead Parade (Everyone Welcome!), Missoula
  • Community Workshops, Missoula, Kalispell and Browning

GRIEF CAMPS & RETREATS

Our camps are set amidst Montana’s pines and mountain lakes. 2017 grief camps for individuals and families include:

  • Women’s Rendezvous, Flathead Lake
  • A Camp to Remember: Day Camp, Missoula
  • A Camp to Remember: Flathead Youth Camp
  • Men’s Retreat, Missoula area
  • A Camp to Remember: Family Camp, Flathead Lake
  • Mini-Camps, Missoula, Kalispell and Browning
  • Teen Wild Land Retreat, Missoula area

GRIEF EDUCATION

Offering customized trainings for communities, colleges, universities, school personnel, youth care workers, and professional conferences. Topics include: Grief after Suicide; Rituals; Grief in Families; Group Facilitation; Childhood Bereavement; Grief at School; Grief at Work; and more.
